BWWA, NGO help cleft-lip patients

JAMMU, May 17: Border Security Force, under the aegis of BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) in association with NGO `Smile Train India’ is helping patients in cleft lip treatment on non-profitable basis in the country.
A BSF spokesman said that the patients who are residing in the border areas and are not aware of the treatment can contact the nearby BSF post. SMILE Train has a team of dedicated  and trained doctors for surgery/ treatment of cleft-lip cases. BSF will act as coordinator for the treatment, though the expenses like transportation or medication will be borne either by individual or by the NGO.
