JAMMU, Apr 5: Congress today hit back at its former senior leader and DPAP Chairman GN Azad, stating that his statements are contrary to his own speeches as LoP, on Modi Govt’s vendetta politics and he (Azad) is only exposing himself on the issue.
Reacting to the recent statements of Azad trying to give clean chit to Prime Minister Modi on vendetta politics when the entire Opposition is protesting on vendetta politics of Modi Govt, JKPCC said that he is contradicting himself and his own statements, when he used to blame Modi Govt of pursuing vendetta politics, as Leader of Opposition.
A meeting of senior leaders of PCC and DCC presidents was held to review the ongoing Satyagrah in all districts of Jammu and Kashmir, which was attended by the PCC incharge and co-incharge of different districts besides DCC presidents to submit the further schedule of activities as per AICC schedule of Jai Bharat Satyagrah.
The meeting criticized the statements of Azad, in which he tries to bail out the Modi Govt by showering praises, but this change of heart started, when his long tenure in  Rajya Sabha was coming to end. He is simply exposing himself by further explaining his relationship with BJP leadership, time and again.
It is unfortunate that the DPAP leader praises a leader who disbanded, divided and downgraded his own historical State of J&K against the wishes of people besides abrogating the rights to land and jobs, which Azad now claims to be fighting for.
The same leader did not allow Azad too, to visit Jammu and Kashmir without orders of Supreme Court.
The meeting also appreciated the efforts of the party leaders and the cadres for immediately responding to the call of the party and joining the Satyagrah of the party against the politics of vendetta by the Modi Govt against Congress leadership after expose of PM Modi – Adani relationship in the parliament. The party cadres participated in the peaceful protests in large numbers to stand with the leadership and expose the Modi Govt’s actions.
The meeting was presided over by JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani and working president Raman Bhalla  and attended by Ravinder Sharma, Balwan Singh,      Manmohan Singh , TS Bajwa , Ved Mahajan, Indu Pawar, Shabir Ahmed Khan, KC Bhagat, Ashok Dogra, Dina Nath Bhagat , Pranav Shagotra , Hari Singh Chib,  Sanjeev Sharma, Pankaj Dogra, Rajesh Sadhotra, Pawan Raina, Narinder Sharma, Shashi Sharma, Ch  Hussain Ali Waffa  and others.
