NEW DELHI, Nov 20: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today ex-post facto approval for the order issued by the President under Section 103 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 to remove the difficulties that have arisen in giving effect to the provisions of the Act as per Rule 12 of the Government of India (Transaction of Business) Rules, 1961.
“The issue of the notification would remove the difficulties in giving effect to the provisions of the Act in application of certain laws to the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union territory of Ladakh,” an official communique said. (UNI)
