JAMMU: The J&K Government has sanctioned the transfer of over seven acres of State land in Udhampur district to the State technical education department for construction of a polytechnic college.
“The Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today has accorded sanction to the transfer of State land measuring 7.9 acres land, situated at village Jaganoo, in Udhampur district to the State Technical Education Department, for construction of a Government Polytechnic college” an official spokesman said here today.
He said that the Cabinet also accorded sanction to the enhancement of “Ration Money Allowance” in favour of Non-Gazetted Staff in Prisons Department and Fire and Emergency Services Department.
“Now the ration money for them has been enhanced from Rs 600 to Rs 1000 per per month with effect from April 1, 2015” he said.
He said that the cabinet also accorded sanction to the promotion of IAS officers to the Selection Grade of IAS.
“The officers include Saurabh Bhagat, Mohammad Yousuf Dar, Hemant Kumar Sharma, Hilal Ahmed Parray, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Dilshad Khan, Basharat Saleem, Tsering Angchok, Shafiq Ahmed Raina and Sajad Ahmad Khan” he said. (AGENCIES)
