NEW DELHI : The Government today decided to re-promulgate the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Ordinance. The Union Cabinet, which met here under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accorded its approval to the move, an official spokesperson said.
This is to give continuity to the present ordinance that is due to lapse on June 3, the spokesperson said. (AGENCIES)
