Cabinet orders major reshuffle in Admn; several officers shifted

JAMMU, Apr 11: The State Cabinet, which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti ordered major reshuffle in the State administration.
As per the orders, Sundeep Kumar Nayak, Principal Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department relieving Rakesh Kumar Gupta of the additional charge.
Bipul Pathak, Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department was transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, relieving Dr Arun Kumar of the additional charge.
Ashok Parmar, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, IT, Technical Education and YSS Department.
Navin Kumar Choudhary, Commissioner / Secretary to the Government, Finance Department was transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Finance Department till further orders.
Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner / Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department.
Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department was transferred and posted as Commissioner/ Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department.
Vineeta Gupta, Officer on Special Duty, General Administration Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K.
Sanjeev Verma, Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department was transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, PHE/ Irrigation and Flood Control Department relieving Rohit Kansal of the additional charge.
Saurab Bhagat, Secretary to the Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department.
Hemant Sharma, Secretary to the Government, Culture Department was transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department.
Hilal Ahmad Parray, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Housing Board, J&K.
Dilshad Khan, Commissioner of Enquiries, J&K was transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Culture Department.
Shafiq Ahmad Raina, Managing Director, J&K Housing Board has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department.
Sajjad Ahmad Khan, Special Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Enquiries, J&K.
Tasneem Majid, Special Secretary to Government, Power Development Department was transferred and posted as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities against available vacancy.
Farooq Ahmad Shah, Managing Director, JKTDC shall hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department.
Sushma Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Syed Abid Rashid, Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam was transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.
Ravinder Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.
Mohammad Aijaz, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar was transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ramban.
M.H Malik, Secretary to Chief Minister has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Horticulture Department.
Dr Abdul Rashid, Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu was transferred and posted as Director, Stationery and Printing, J&K relieving Rohit Khajuria, KAS of the additional charge.
Bashir Ahmad Dar, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Rajinder Singh Tara, Special Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department was transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu.
Tariq Hussain Ganai, Director, Hospitality and Protocol, J&K has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal.
Munir-ul-Islam, Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag was transferred and posted as Director, Information, J&K. He will report to GAD and take over the charge on 01.05.2016 after the superannuation of Zaffar Ahmad Bhat.
Showkat Aijaz Bhat, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam.
Meanwhile, the Government has ordered posting of Hashmat Ali Khan, Special Secretary to the Government Hospitality and Protocol Department as Private Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Masarat-ul-Islam, Additional Secretary to the Government Information Department, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Press and Publicity with the Chief Minister.
Haris Ahmad Handoo, Additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Bashir Ahmad Lone, awaiting orders of adjustment has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
M K Dhar, has been appointed as Public Relations Officer (PRO) to the Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, Government has ordered posting of 11 Junior Scale KAS officer of 2012 (I) and (II) batch.
According to the order, Aamir Ayaiz Rather has been posted as Assistant Director Estates, Irfan Ali Khan as Under Secretary, School Education Department, Murtaza Rashid as Under Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Daljeet Singh as Under Secretary, Power Development Department, Irfan Manzoor as Under Secretary, Higher Education Department.
Kavita Pandoh has been posted as Under Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Arshad Hussain Ganai as Under Secretary in Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Saniya Malik as Under Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, Rajani Bala as Under Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, Joni Kumar as Under Secretary, Floriculture Department and Sheetal Kumar Sharma as Under Secretary, General Administration Department.
