Sir,
After the recent Cabinet rejig, almost every Central Government department is headed by a minister. Being headed by competent people, these departments should go at full throttle to meet the aspirations of people, and take the country on the path of development and prosperity. With Suresh Prabhu at the helm of Railway affairs, it is expected that the Railways would see modernisation and expansion. Railways can act as an instrument of economic and social change and contribute to the nation’s development. Likewise, the important ministry has now a full time defense minister. There are great expectations from him. He has the onerous task of meeting the demands of the Army. There is shortage of officers and weapons. The developments evolving at LoC and LAC are a matter of concern, and these have be taken care of. On the health front, all is not well. Our hospitals, particularly those located in peripheral areas are not well equipped. These health centres face dearth of doctors and paramedical staff. There is shortage of medicines and machines. The people have high expectations from this Government, and these should not be belied.
Yours etc…..
