JAMMU, Sept 26: To celebrate the birthday of former Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh today, the Congress leaders organised a cake ceremony in the party office and conveyed best wishes and birthday greetings to Dr Singh. The leaders prayed for good health and long life of Dr Manmohan Singh, whose contributions to the country are immense in various capacities especially as RBI Governor, as Finance Minister and as Prime Minister.
His economic policies gave a new direction to the progress of country and it’ has emerged as great economy of the world. The country is highly indebted to Dr Singh for his great contributions and feels proud of such a great man, who is acknowledged world wide as a distinguished economist.
Chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, PCC secretaries Narinder Gupta, Narinder Sharma, Sanjeev Panda, Gurmeet Singh, Janak Mehra, Rahul Tandon PYC spokesperson, Parvez Wani from Seva Dal were prominent among those present on the occasion.
