Cancel plots

Sir,
Today, the 20th September, 2012, I have read an advertisement Notice from the J&K Housing Board for cancellation of plots in Housing Colony, Ompora, Budgam(Kashmir) in view of the non-construction of houses in that colony. I request  the Housing Board to issue similar Notice of cancellation of plots in the Channi Himmat Housing Colony in Jammu. We the residents of the colony, particularly Sector-3, are facing similar type of problems in the area. The conditions in this Sector-3 are beyond tolerance as I have seen althrough the long 14 years when I came to this Posh Colony with a view to live in an open green area. Instead, the sector has been turned into a dumping ground as the people are not constructing the houses since handing over of the plots somewhere in 1986 or so. Many house holders in Sector-3 do not pay to the Municipality the collection of garbage charges and throw “Kura” in open plots. The labourers residing in the area do the same thing along with defacating in the open early in the morning when we go for a morning walk. The same picture is seen all along the beautiful Green Belt Indira Gandhi Park strip along the National Highway By-pass.
It is as such  requested to install the electric meters in the name of allottees immediately to save the theft by the people who are outsiders and living in “Juggies”. The labourers work elsewhere in Jammu areas but come to Channi Himmat Colony to reside with almost free electricity and water facilities.
Yours etc….
