JAMMU, June 9: Demanding rescheduling of the screening test for Plus 2 Lecturer, which coincides with CSIR NET-JRF exam on June 19, ABVP activists today held a protest demonstration at Jammu University.
The protesting students, led by Lokinder Singh and Rizwan–ul- Zaman, raised slogans in support of their demand and urged the J&K Public Service Commission to re-schedule the screening test of Plus 2 Lecturers.
A number of students and Research scholars from various departments like Zoology, Economics, Computer Applications and Mathematics Department of Jammu University assembled near the Fountain Point and held the protest demonstration. They alleged that despite repeated representations to the JKPSC, the concerned authorities were showing their reluctance in re-scheduling the exam.
The protesting students and scholars appealed the Chief Minister to personally look into the matter and provide them justice otherwise they would miss either one of the exams.
