SRINAGAR, Nov 27: Police today claimed to have recovered cannabis dust (fukki) from a truck at Fruit Mandi, Sopore.
A police spokesman said police got tip off that a tuck was carrying cannabis from Sopore Fruit Mandi and immediately police searched a truck bearing registration number JK05A/8573.
During the search, police recovered fukki from five boxes in the truck. However, the driver of the truck fled from the spot. A case FIR No: 273/2013 under Section 8/17 NDPS Act was registered and investigation has been started, the spokesman said.
