JAMMU, Oct 30: Eight-week long Capacity Building Training Program for Secretarial employees of Jammu University began here today.
In this course, various resource persons within the University and outside will deliver lecturers on conduct rules, finance rules, service rules, University procedures, accounts and audit rules etc. Secretarial employees of JU are attending this training programme.
Dr Amit Kumar Sharma is Coordinator of the programme, which began with a formal inaugural function in which Prof Rajeev Ratan, Director Colleges Development Council and Incharge Registrar, was the chief guest.
In his address, Prof. Rajiv Rattan highlighted the basic duties of the secretarial staff and exhorted them to act as stress managers of students community.
Others, who were present on the occasion, included Prof Sandeep Pandita, Director HRDC JU; Prof Pawan Kumar, Incharge Head Department of Statistics; Dr Rakesh Chib and Pankaj Gupta, President & Gen Secretary, respectively of Non-Teachers Employees Union.
The program proceedings were conducted by Dr Amit Kumar Sharma, Course Coordinator.
