JAMMU, Feb 10: The CAPD Department has launched special drive against the alleged misuse of domestic LPG cylinders in commercial establishments, over charging by some people and under weight supply of gas cylinders.
The team led by Deputy Director (Supplies), Atam Dev Singh, AD Mohd Iqbal under the supervision of Director CAPD Jammu G S Chib started extensive checking in several city localities including Bakshi Nagar, Talab Tillo, Rehari, Subash Nagar, Ban Talab, Roop Nagar, Narwal, Kunjwani, Shastri Nagar and Sanjay Nagar and conducted over seventy inspections and booked several defaulters. Over three dozen commercial establishments were booked and on the spot penalty was imposed on them. The fine money was also recovered on the spot.
