Srinagar, May 7: Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department paid surprise visit to Srinagar City and outskirts during which a storekeeper was suspended and enquiry ordered in the shortage of foodgrains in Shalimar area.
The Minister visited various localities of Srinagar city and checked ration depots in Raj Bagh, Shalimar and Nishat area. During the surprise check, Minister suspended Gulzar Ahmed, storekeeper of Food Store Shalimar where he found shortage of ration. An enquiry was also ordered in this regard.
