KISHTWAR, Sept 30: Two women were killed while three more persons suffered injuries today when the car they were onboard veered off the road and landed in a deep gorge in Parthshalla near Bunjwah area of mountainous Kishtwar district.

As per sources, the ill fated car of Alto make bearing registration number JK06A -0705 was on way from Bunjwah to Thathri when the driver lost control over the vehicle near Parthshalla and it rolled about 200 feet down in a gorge.
After getting the information about the accident, cops along with volunteers immediately rushed to the spot and started a rescue operation and retrieved bodies of two women who had died on the spot.
The three injured persons were shifted to GMC Doda for treatment.
The deceased were identified as Mehrun Nisa, 25, wife of Tariq Hussain, resident of Nali Bunjwah and Rehana Begum, 35, wife of Ashiq Hussain, resident of Jawalpur Bunjwah.
The injured were identified as Tariq Hussain, 29, son of Gh Mohi Din, resident of Udyanpur, Doda; Brera Banoo, 18, daughter of Gulshan Ahmed Mir, resident of Nali Bunjwah and Muzaffer Hussain, 28, son of Mohd Amin, resident of Udyanpur, Doda.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar under the relevant sections of law and investigation started.
