DODA, Feb 27: Of the five persons on board a car here today, three sustained injuries when the vehicle skidded off the road and landed near Chenab River at Zero Point, Thathri.
The ill fated vehicle of Eeco make was bearing registration number JK06C-1947 and it was moving from Cheera to Thathri.
Immediately after the accident, locals along with cops swung into action and shifted the injured to PHC Thathri for treatment.
Sources informed that the vehicle was driven by Tanveer Ahmad, son of Abdul Latief, resident of Cheera and he failed to control the vehicle which led to the accident. He was also injured.
Other two injured persons were Rukhsana Begum, wife of Imtiaz Ahmad, resident of Khan Pura and Rozi, wife of Kamran Khan, resident of Cheera and they both got minor injuries and were discharged after getting first aid from CHC Thathri.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
