JAMMU, Feb 25: A car and a motorcycle have been stolen from the jurisdiction of Bahu Fort and Satwari Police Stations respectively.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Amar Nassar, son of Nassar Ahmed of Rajbagh Srinagar, at present Qasim Nagar with Police Station Bahu Fort stating that some unknown person(s) had stolen his car from Rajeev Nagar area.
Meanwhile, Amarjeet Singh, son of Nal Singh of Chatha lodged a complaint with Police Station Satwari regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02CF-8281.
Acting over the complaints, cases under FIR Numbers 71/2020 and 40/2020 under section 379 IPC have been registered at Bahu Fort and Satwari Police Stations respectively and hunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
