JAMMU, Nov 23: Police today seized the car which was used by miscreants in shootout near Railway Bridge, Narwal in which one person sustained injuries.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Narwal Police Station led by SI Manoj Dhar visited North block parking at Bhau Plaza and seized Wagon R car bearing registration JK02AK 2878.
The car was used by miscreants, he said, adding that the vehicle was registered on the name Manmohan Singh, resident of Talab Tillo camp, who was also one of the accused.
However, the accused are still at large and raids were being conducted to arrest them.
It may be mentioned here that, Prabjot Singh, son of Tarlochan Singh, a resident of Narwal Pain, Satwari was shot at by Manmohan Singh and Kewal Krishan alias Kaka, both residents of Talab Tillo Camp over a tiff near Railway Bridge, Narwal yesterday afternoon.
Soon after the incident, the accused fled from in the Wagon-R car, which has been recovered today by the police.
