NEW DELHI, Apr 8: Cardamom brown prices fell further by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today owing to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks.
Cardamom brown-Jhundiwali and Kanchicut prices declined by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 700-720 and Rs 760-1,050 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks, mainly pulled down cardamom prices.
Other spices ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

Ajwain (per kg) 120-180, black pepper (per kg) 650-800, betel-nut (kg) 250-295, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 700-720 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 760-1,050.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 1,330-1,430, cardamom (colour robin) 1,200-1,220, cardamom bold 1,230-1,240, cardamom extra (bold) 1,330-1,340 and cloves 555-655. (PTI)
