JAMMU, Apr 14: Career Abacus, a leading Abacus teaching institute opened another branch at Rampura Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Councillor, Pawan Singh was the chief guest on the opening ceremony. The chief guest and other guests were received by the Director Career Abacus, Arvind Sharma, Principal K K Khajuria and Suman Sharma, Centre Head Muskan Dogra and other staff members.
The welcome address was presented by Shikha Gupta and Neetu Attar. The chief guest inaugurated the Centre by cutting the ribbon and lighting the ceremonial lamp. The program started with demonstrations of the kids which left the audience spellbound with the speed and accuracy.
The parents were highly appreciative of the quality of education being imparted by the Institute. The students who participated in the demo session were Paras Gupta, Aditri Sharma, Girisha Angral and Advika Choudhary.
The Director of the Institute highlighted the benefits of Career Abacus course and stressed upon the parents to teach this skill to their children. He explained that it not only improves the arithmetic skills but also helps in whole brain development by enhancing the memory, concentration, visualization, imagination and overall confidence of the students.
Arvind Sharma further informed that the Career Abacus is a proud member of many Global Associations of Abacus which conduct International Grading Examinations, National and International Abacus Competitions and the students of the Institute have the privilege to compete in those competitions.
The chief guest in his speech was very appreciative of the work being done by the Institution in making the present generation so fast. The chief guest blessed the little children and the efforts made by them in this direction.
The function was coordinated by Muskan, Sunita, Shashi, Nidhi, Nakul and other staff members.
