JAMMU, Apr 26: Former Minister and NCP Chief J&K Randhir Singh demanded investigation against the people, who are demanding restarting of the cross LoC trade.
He stated that starting of cross LoC trade between India and Pakistan was the conspiracy of the late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Congress, which was too followed by Dr Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah.
“To put ban on the cross LoC trade by Home Minister Rajnath Singh will eradicate the militancy from Kashmir for which Rajnath Singh is working tirelessly”, he said, adding that the decision to ban cross LoC trade came after tip off from National Investigation Agency (NIA) that cross LoC trade is being used by the Pakistani elements to smuggle narcotics, weapons and counterfeit money in Kashmir.
Singh appreciates the role of NIA, which identified atleast 10 militants who had crossed over to Pakistan, set up the businesses with active aid of the ISI and were involved in smuggling weapons, narcotics, fake currency to terrorists viz funds to separatists in Jammu and Kashmir through cross LoC trade.
“This was a proper planning to start a full fledge militancy in Kashmir valley”, he said and demanded investigation against those, who are demanding restarting of cross LoC trade.
He condemned the utterances of Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti who led a protest march of her party activists in Pulwama district against suspension of cross LoC trade. Singh also demanded investigation against her credentials by NIA.
