JAMMU, Jan 4: Central Association of Robotics Technology (CART) Bharat and M/s Inert IT Pvt Ltd organized a function where two books, authored by Dr Parveen Lehana, an IITian and Associate Professor, Department of Physics and Electronics, University of Jammu and Er Sonakshi Sudan, Convener Technical Activities, CART Bharat, were released.
The books, titled – ‘Biomedical Instrumentation & Concepts’ and ‘Experiments in Biomedical Instrumentation’, provide basic as well as technical information about the design and development of medical equipments like ECG, EEG, CT-SCAN, X-ray, MRI, EMG, etc.
Parshotam Dadeechi, State general secretary, RSS, Jammu and Kashmir was the chief guest on the occasion while Rajesh Gupta, MLA, Jammu East was the guest of honour.
Mr Dadeechi emphasized the role of a dedicated, humble, and a knowledgeable teacher for the upliftment of the society.
Dr Pawanesh Abrol, Professor, Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu and Coordinator, CART Bharat, introduced the audience about the activities of the CART Bharat and its future plans for providing a helping hand to the society particularly for the underprivileged sections.
Joy Ganjoo, Senior Fellow IETE Jammu Centre and Santoresh Lehana, Er Kanwal Kishore Sudan, and Dr Manju Upadhaya also spoke on the occasion. Dr Sonam Sudan conducted the proceedings of the ceremony. The function was attended by students, engineers and faculty members from educational institutes.
