Cashew remain higher on fall in supply

NEW DELHI, July 12:  Cashew prices rose up to Rs 20 per kg in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and bulk consumers amid paucity of stocks on fall in supplies from growing regions.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose up to Rs 20 to conclude at Rs 810-820, Rs 710-720 Rs 640-650 and Rs 535-540 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and bulk consumers against tight supplies from growing belts, mainly supported the upside in cashew prices.

Almond (California) Rs 18,200 Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 7,800-8,000; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 4,500-4,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-22,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 630-650 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 500-540 per kg. (PTI)
