Cashew rises on buying support

NEW DELHI, Oct 11:  Cashew prices rose by Rs 15 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 15 each to conclude at at Rs 835-855, Rs 715-735 Rs 665-685 and Rs 585-595 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from growing regions, mainly pushed up cashew prices to rise on the wholesale dry fruit market here.
