NEW DELHI, Jan 30: Cashew prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists on higher demand from bulk consumers.
Furthermore, tight stocks following fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 775-785, Rs 675-680 Rs 630-635 and Rs 585-590 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up cashew prices.

Almond (California) Rs 17,500, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 9,900-10,100, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,700-7,100; Abjosh Afghani Rs 7,000-19,500.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 620-630 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-775 per kg. (PTI)
