UDHAMPUR, May 29: Casual labourers staged strong protest demanding regularization of their services, today.
Casual labourers of Public Works Roads and Building Department held protest in the office premises of PWD, wherein a large number of protesters assembled and stage a strong protest in support of their demand under the leadership of their president, Kalotra.
They demanded immediate formulation of their policy for regularization. Kalotra said that poor need based casual labour have not received their due payment since last one year and they are on the verge of starvation.
Kalotra warned the State administration of vigorous protest and road blocks if their demands are not met in near future.
