SAMBA, June 2: Casual labourers of PHE Department held a dharna in front of DC Office Samba demanding release of their wages of last seven months.
The protestors raising slogans against the authorities said that they are being paid a meager amount of Rs 500 per month and that too has not been released for last seven months now.
They said that this attitude of the Department has made their position awkward and in case the wages were not released immediately they will come to streets and intensify agitation.
