JAMMU, May 2: Ten cattle perished and other household items were damaged in fire in a kulla at Kali Pulli Kullian area, falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib police station.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the kulla of Nazir Ahmed, son of Alaf Din of Kali Pulli, Kullian.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and fire fighters were pressed in to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then 10 cattle got perished and others household items were damaged.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while exact loss has not been ascertained yet.
Miran Sahib police has taken cognizance in this regard.
