MAHORE, July 27: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mahore, Mazahir Husain Shah here today said that almost all the welfare schemes of Government of India like PMGSY, PMAY Grameen and Urban, JJM etc have been implemented in Mahore, a far-flung area in district Reasi and the government is trying its best that the benefits of these schemes must reach the last man in queue.
The SDM was addressing at inaugural ceremony of 3-day Multimedia Exhibition at HSS Mahore on Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan, G20 and Mission LiFE.
The Multimedia Exhibition is being organized by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Udhampur.
“It is responsibility of every citizen of India to contribute in nation building especially of students, the future of this nation, who must ensure that the vital information regarding Government of India schemes, policies and programs must reach their families and the society so that the people will be able to get benefits out of these,” Mazahir Husain said.
Sheikh Mudasir Amin, Media & Communications Officer in his address said, it has been possible only under PM Narendra Modi that the government was able to provide food grains to more than 80 crore people especially during COVID times under PMGKAY that cannot be even imagined by the most developed nations of the world.
Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, CBC Udhampur said, the Government of India is steadfast to end the communication gap and organise these Multimedia Exhibitions especially in the far-flung areas to inform people about different schemes so that they may obtain benefits in real-time.
Pradeep Dhar from Agriculture Department, Dr. Rajat Kansotra of Sheep Husbandry Department, Shubham Sharma of JK Bank and Basheer Ahmad of Horticulture Department also talked about various schemes of their respective departments provided by the government.
Besides students and locals, the event was attended by Principal HSS Mahore, Riyaz Hussain & TA (S) CBC Udhampur, Gurnaam Singh.
An on the spot quiz competition was also organised on Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan and patriotic songs were sung by the students. Prizes were also distributed among winners of the quiz.
