NOWSHERA, Aug 12: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Field Office Rajouri today organized a Mini Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ at Government Degree College Nowshera.
Speaking on the occasion Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director, CBC, J&K and Ladakh region said that Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is an opportunity to celebrate achievements and identify the unaccomplished dreams.
Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, Field Office, Udhampur presented an overview, structure and working of the CBC, J&K.
Kartar Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nowshera said, “We all must feel proud to be part of celebrations of 75 years of Independence and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.”
Others present during the event were Rajesh Jasrotia, SHO Nowshera; Gurnaam Singh, In-charge CBC Field Office, Rajouri; Faculty Members of GDC Noswshera, representatives from Health Department and police.
Poetry sessions for the students and seminar for faculty members on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga was also organised along with cultural programmes.
Dr. K.K Sharma, Principal GDC Nowshera delivered vote of thanks.
Har Ghar Tiranga bike rally was another attraction of the day long programme.
