NEW DELHI, June 7: The CBI is conducting searches at the premises of controversial arms dealer Abhishek Verma and his associates in Delhi and Gurgaon today in connection with defence deals.
“Searches are being conducted at ten places. A new case has been registered against Abhishek Verma,” a CBI spokesperson said.
Mr Verma is accused of taking money from the defence firms to get them cleared from the blacklist of Ministry of Defence.
He allegedly took money from a Swiss firm Ryan Metal. (UNI)
