CBI official gets D P Kohli award

NEW DELHI, Apr 6: Bharat Bhushan Sharma, PC, CBI, ACB, Jammu has been awarded the prestigious D.P Kohli award for the year 2012. The award was given by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee at an impressive function organised by CBI on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The award has been given to him for his exceptional detective abilities leading to apprehending of absconders and solving criminal cases.
Bharat Bhushan Sharma joined CBI on 30-12-1991. In the training, he was adjusted “Outdoor Best”. Right from the beginning, he has displayed devotion to duty, sincerity and tendency for tireless hard work which can be judged from the fact that he has assisted more than 60 trap cases in J&K during his 22 years of service.
