RS PURA, Dec 24: Central Bank of India (CBI), Branch Office, RS Pura, under the guidance of regional office, Amritsar, organised a financial inclusion programme at village Chohala, near here.
The programme was presided over by executive director, CBI, Mumbai, RK Dubey.
A large number of villagers from far and near including women attended the programme.
The welcome address was given by Sarpanch of the Village, Mulkh Raj.
While addressing the gathering, Dubey apprised them about the loan facilities provided by the Bank for agricultural activities and other business and personal ventures. He also inaugurated an ultra small branch under financial inclusion programme, in the village.
Dubey also disbursed smart cards to many villagers on which the transactions were made on spot. He assured the villagers that in a small time the Bank will upgrade this ultra small branch to full fledged branch.
Assistant General Manager, Anil Sharma, also address the gathering.
