HYDERABAD, Mar 29: Prathap Reddy of Penna Cements today appeared before the CBI in connection with the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case of YSR Congress Party Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Mr Reddy was questioned by the investigating agency at the Dilkusha Guest House, the temporary headquarters of CBI where Mr Reddy gave his statement.
During the past three days, CBI has been questioning many people with regard to the Jagan’s DA case.
Former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s close aide and advisor to the State Government KVP Ramachandra Rao and APIIC Zonal Manager Dasarathrami Reddy were among those who were summoned by the CBI till now and their statements recorded.
It was learnt the CBI appeared to have intensified its investigation into the disproportionate assets case of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as it reportedly informed the Apex Court earlier that it would file the final chargesheet in the case by March 31, 2013 as part of the investigation. (UNI)
