JAMMU, Sept 20 : The newly elected Board of Directors of The Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd Jammu comprising of Dinesh Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Koushal Kumar Gupta, Parveen Sharma, Kailash Kumar Langer, Parshotam Singh Pawar, Charanjit Singh Raina, Varinder Singh and Karunesh Gupta assumed the office today. They unanimously elected Dinesh Gupta as chairman and Deepak Gupta as vice-chairman of the Bank. Dinesh Gupta expressed sincere thanks on behalf of the Board to the share holders of the bank for reposing faith and confidence in his team and assured that the Board will come upto the expectations of the share holders. He placed on record his gratitudes to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu for restoring democratic set up of governance in the bank in true spirits of Cooperative laws and appreciated the role of Civil Administration for conducting elections.
Mr Gupta said that all the branches of the bank shall be computerized under Core Banking Solutions (CBS) before the end of current financial year and the customers shall be provided RTGS and NEFT facilities from the counter of the bank.
