JAMMU, Aug 12: A delegation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) Jammu, met the newly appointed Vice Chairman of Jammu Development Authority (JDA), Pankaj Magotra at his office chamber here today.
The delegation members led by Chamber president, Arun Gupta raised hopes of the trading community with his joining new posting, which has been facing multiple issues that need to be addressed by the Jammu Development Authority at the earliest.
Gupta specially discussed at length with the JDA Vice Chairman the problems faced by the traders running their establishments at Transport Nagar, Shiv Market at Railway Station, Bahu Plaza and Bus Stand.  He brought to the notice of Pankaj Magotra the highly dilapidated condition of roads in Transport Nagar and adjacent areas that is not only troublesome for the trading community working there but has been irking the commuters passing through the area whether in their vehicles or on foot.
