CCI holds interactive meet with Czech envoy

JAMMU, Apr 16: Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during interactive meet with the Ambassador of Czech Republic and the Deputy Chief of the Mission (Political Affairs) here today discussed the issues of its interests in the region.
President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Y V Sharma along with his team of office bearers welcomed the Ambassador- Milosalav Stasek and Andria Kucerova, Deputy Chief of the Mission by presenting bouquet of flowers. In his welcome address Mr Sharma said that Jammu region has very good potential of exporting Basmati rice and several other things and expressed hope that their visit will prove very beneficial in strengthening the mutual business cooperation between the State of Jammu and Kashmir and Czech Republic.
During the interaction, various issues of mutual interest to both J&K and Czech Republic were discussed. A power representation was also given by Anderia Kucrova during interaction. It was impressed upon by both visitors that it would be beneficial if the business delegation of both J&K and Czech Republic exchange the visits to discuss and further strengthen the business opportunities.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Satsek stated that areas of possible economic cooperation with special emphasis are industry, engineering, agriculture, water management, pharmaceuticals industry automotive industry power sector, thermal, hydro and nuclear power, new and renewal energy, solar energy, health and medical equipments and Civil aviation, where joint ventures can be established. He further stated that Czech Republic will also provide financial facility through Czech Export Bank besides insurance cover.
Annil Suri, president Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Satish Koul, Lalit Mahajan, Jugal Kishore, Rakesh Bhat, Anil Gupta, Deepak Aggarwal and Tanveer Singh also spoke on the occasion.
