JAMMU, Sept 15: Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu has urged the BJP Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma to take up the matter regarding promotion of border tourism at Suchetgarh International Border with the concerned Central Government Ministry.
In a communication to the MP, Rakesh Gupta president of the Jammu Chamber apprised that JKTDC has created complete infrastructure to handle tourists coming to Suchetgarh by spending huge funds but the Central Government has not initiated any steps in this regard. Chamber demanded that Wagah border like ceremony should also be held at Suchetgarh border to attract tourists visiting the State.
