JAMMU, Oct 10: CDPO Rajouri Aditi Singhaal conducted a surprise visit to several Anganwadi centers in Dhanidhar Rajouri today. The visit was aimed to assess the functioning of these centers, understand the challenges faced by the staff, and ensure that the children are receiving quality nutrition and education.
The CDPO Rajouri interacted with the Anganwadi workers, beneficiaries, and parents, gathering valuable insights into the programs being implemented. The centers serve as crucial support systems for maternal and child health, nutrition, and early childhood education in the community.
“Seeing the dedication of the Anganwadi workers firsthand was inspiring,” said the CDPO. “Their commitment to improving the lives of children and families in our community is commendable. It is vital that we continue to support these initiatives to ensure every child has access to essential services,” she said.
The visit also highlighted some challenges faced by the centers, including e.g. lack of resources and need for training. Singhaal assured the staff that their concerns would be addressed and emphasized the importance of ongoing support and training for Anganwadi workers.
