JAMMU, Aug 11: Chief Engineer PHE Department Jammu, Sushil Aima today conducted an extensive tour of Nagrota area to have an on the spot assessment of post flood damages at filtration plant Sitlee, which is a major source of providing water supply to Jammu Old City.
After visiting Sitlee complex, the Chief Engineer inspected the damage work at Belini Nallah, Charu Nallah and Tawi bank at Nagrota. He issued on the spot instructions for completion of restoration works at an earliest so that the effected water supply can be restored to avoid any further hue and cry in the public.
During the tour, the Chief Engineer was accompanied by Superintending Engineer, Hydraulic Circle Jammu, Executive Engineer, PHE Division City-I, PHE Rural Division Jammu, PHE Mech Rural Division Jammu and concerned Assistant Executive Engineers and JEs of the area.
