LEH, Apr 3: The Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar today allotted Sub-Divisions and blocks to the Executive Councilors for smooth functioning of all departments and speedy execution of developmental works.
The Executive Councilor for Agriculture Sonam Dorjey has been ordered to look after the Nubra Sub –Division (Diskit & Panamik blocks). Similarly, Dr Sonam Wangchuk, Executive Councilor for Health has been ordered to look after the Nyoma Sub-Division (Nyoma & Tangtse blocks). Likewise, Executive Councilor for CAPD Gh Abass Abadi has been ordered to look after the Leh, Chushot and Kharu blocks and the Executive Councilor for Tourism Gyurmet Dorjey has been ordered to look after the Khaltsi Sub-Division (Saspol & Khaltsi blocks).
The CEC ordered the ECs to visit the allotted Sub-divisions and blocks at least three times from April to November and once from December to March along with respective concerned Councilors to take stock of ongoing works of all the departments. Besides, the ECs were also asked to visit the health centers, educational institutions and various other centers functioning in the villages and submit their tour note to the CEC.
The ECs were also instructed to take the periodical review meeting of departments allotted to them twice in a year in presence of NGOs, public representatives concerned and other stakeholders.
