LEH, Mar 10: Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting today in his office chamber to discuss plans for the establishment of the Ladakh Board of School Education.
All the officials put forth their concerns and suggestions to the Chairman with important points such as maintaining a standard perception of the board, introducing local-oriented contents in textbooks, digitalization of textbooks and strengthening of the Education department.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk who holds the portfolio of Higher Education, DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, COE University of Ladakh, Deskyong Namgyal, Assistant Secretary JK BOSE, Tashi Tundup and concerned officials of the Education Department headed by DEPO Leh, Chetan Dorje.
