KARGIL, Sept 25: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today inaugurated the free multi-specialty health camp at 300-bedded Hospital Kurbathang.
The camp was organized by Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation in collaboration with Medicare Multi-Speciality Hospital Srinagar and Health Department Kargil.
During the camp, specialist doctors from Medicare Multi-Speciality Hospital Srinagar provided their services in the field of Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Psychiatry and Cardiology with special facilities of ECG Pulmonology, Ultrasound, Lap Surgery, Endoscopy, PFT and the latest use of Technology Fibroscan. The specialist doctors also conducted surgeries at the hospital.
The CEC said LAHDC Kargil is committed to support all those organizations who are working in the field of health sector and health is a priority for the hill council. He said such health camps ultimately help poor patients of Kargil.
CEC Khan urged people to take benefit from such camps. He informed that Asoka Mission in collaboration with LAHDC Kargil will be organizing another multi-specialty camp from September 26 in which 17 specialist doctors from AIIMS, New Delhi will provide services to the people of Kargil.
President Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation, Dr Mohd Abass said that it is the second camp this month organized by his organization. He said they will also organize a total knee replacement camp in the future.
Director Medicare Multi-Specialty Hospital Srinagar said they will organize such camps in Kargil after every 3 months and there will be special consideration for patients from Kargil.
President Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi thanked Medicare Multi-Specialty Hospital Srinagar and the team of doctors for giving their time and efforts to provide such service at the doorstep of the people of Kargil.
