Leh, Dec 8: To establish the latest progress in the missing case of 16 year old girl Afsana Parveen of Thiksay, Leh Ladakh, the Chief Executive Councilor, Rigzin Spalbar took a detail progress report from Senior Superintendent of Police Leh Dr Sunil Gupta today.
Spalbar expressed concern over the missing girl since November 26, 2014 and said that such incident is an alarming threat to a small society like Ladakh.
The SSP, apprised CEC that District Police Leh is making every effort on this particular case giving top priority and working vigorously on all possible angles for safe recovery of the missing girl. He said that four senior police officers are already deployed in suspected States for the task and said that SSP himself keeping a close supervision over the case besides keeping touch with Polices authorities of these States. At the same time, SSP Leh sought suggestion and ideas from the local people in this case which could lead to early recovery of the missing girl.
It is to mention that District Police Leh has already announced a cash reward of Rs:50,000/= to the person who will give a valid information about the missing girl.
