KARGIL, Jan 20: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan along with the Executive Councillor for Zanskar Affairs Er Punchoq Tashi today visited Zanskar Sarai at Leh and met the relatives of the deceased who lost their lives in the avalanche incident at Khardung La.
The CEC and EC Zanskar Affairs expressed heartfelt sympathies with the relatives of the deceased and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
The CEC also visited SNM Hospital Leh where the bodies were kept. He personally monitored the airlifting of the bodies from Leh to Zanskar through Air Force helicopters.
