KARGIL, July 25: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today convened a meeting with the concerned district officers regarding purchase under the subsidy component.
The meeting was attended by Executive Councilor Health Mohsin Ali, Executive Councilor Tourism Er Tashi Phunshock, Executive Councilor Horticulture Aga Syed Mehdi Fazili, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhdave, ACD Kargil Ghulam Muhammad, Chief Controller Finance, LAHDC, Kargil, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, District Sheep Husbandry and other concerned officers.
A detailed discussion was held on the percentage of subsidy, fixation of rates, procurement and bidding of products, and transportation charges besides other related aspects.
The district officers also informed the CEC about the status of progress achieved so far under different schemes.
CEC Khan directed the concerned officers to furnish the list of last year’s pending procured materials, machines and other materials within one week’s time.
The CEC also directed the concerned officers to purchase all the necessary materials on time so that beneficiaries can get maximum benefit.
He also directed to ensure the proper listing of deserving beneficiaries so that no deserving beneficiary is left out.
