SHOTOPA/KARGIL, Oct 18: The CEC LAHDC Kargil Haji Asgar Karbalie along with Executive Councilor for Tourism Skalzang Wangyal visited Lungnaq Block, the farthest Block of Kargil district and assessed the ongoing developmental activities in the block on visit to Zanskar Sub Division, today.
During the visit CEC inaugurated the Block Development Office-cum-residential block which was constructed at a cost of Rs. 38.69 lakh and a solar power plant at Papcha and Moni village, which came at a cost of Rs 1.30 crore and Rs 1.10 crore respectively.
He interacted with the people of Raru and Ichar villages and listened to their demands and grievances patiently and assured them that their demand will be fulfilled in the coming future.
The CEC and EC were accompanied by the District Officers, Sub Divisional Officers and President Kargil and Zanskar Congress Committee.
