LEH, May 30: Chairman/ Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil, today re-allocated portfolios among his four Executive Councilors (ECs).
According to an order issued in this connection, Executive Councilor Aga Sayeed Mujtaba has been given Departments of Social Welfare, Horticulture, Handloom and Animal & Sheep Husbandry while Departments of Roads & Buildings, Mechanical, Food Civil Supplies & CA, Industries & Commerce, Co-operative, Fisheries and Information have gone to Executive Councilor Aga Syeed Abass Razvi.
Executive Councilor Punchok Tashi got Departments of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Tourism, Handicraft and Zanskar Affairs while Executive Councilor Mohd Ali Chandan has been given Departments of Health, Revenue, Agriculture, Forest & Soil Conservation Forestry, Wild Life and Industrial Training Institute.
According to the order, all other matters and issues pertaining to other departments within the purview of the Council including General Administration, Plan and Non Plan Budget, inter-District Co-ordination, Tribal Sub Plan, Allotment, use and occupation of land vested in the Council.
Education, Power, Youth Services & Sports, Information Technology, Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Kargil Development Authority, PMGSY, KREDA, PHE, I&FC and other left over departments will be with Chairman/CEC. Further, the CEC shall exercise general superintendence and control of all the departments allocated to each member of the Executive Council.
