Leh, Mar 18: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson along with the official delegation from the Union Ministry of Culture paid respects to the holy relics of Lord Buddha & his two disciples currently enshrined in Wat Mahathat Wachiramongkol in Krabi, Thailand. He also offered ‘Sangha-daan’ to the venerable monks.
Till date, more than two million devotes from across the world have gathered in Thailand to pay their respects to the holy relics and engage in spiritual reflections.
” Today is the last day of the exposure of the Holy Relics in Thailand for the devotees. The holy relics are scheduled to be brought back to India accompanied by the official delegation tomorrow, marking the culmination of this historic journey in Thailand”, The CEC said.
