LEH, Nov 20: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson, chaired a meeting at the Council Secretariat with BSNL officials to review the progress on mobile towers works in the district.
The meeting was attended by Councillor Skyu Markha, Sonam Nurboo; General Manager, BSNL Leh; other officials from BSNL; and the contractor responsible for mobile tower installation.
During the meeting, GM BSNL Leh briefed the CEC on the progress of mobile tower installations at various locations, assuring that most towers would soon be operational. He assured to make every effort to complete the remaining installations promptly.
The CEC directed the BSNL authorities to expedite the completion of pending mobile tower erection works. He also instructed the contractor to prioritize the completion of works in snowbound areas immediately.
Gyalson emphasized the need for regular updates from both BSNL and the contractor on the progress of the project. He assured close monitoring to ensure the timely installation of all mobile towers.
